For the 31st year, the Butte Rose Society will be hosting its annual Rose Show. Various divisions include locally grown roses in vases, in arrangements and in photographs that are judged by professional rose judges. The public is invited to participate in a fragrant rose contest and a rose-centric arts and crafts contest. Rose experts will be available to answer questions. The adjacent Creekside Rose Garden, managed by the Chico Area Recreation and Park District will be open to visitors as well.
